LINEAGE is an exhibition of 13 drawings of women wearing clothing from different cultures. The concept is both a play on words and a reminder of where we come from. My goal was to engage the viewer and invite connection with cultures similar and different from their own. The process for the artwork included reaching out to people in the community and photographing models for drawing reference. Final illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator.
The exhibition was held at Karpeles Manuscript Library on Porter Ave from December 9th to December 14, 2021.
